POMODORO TECHNIQUE: How to be more productive.⏲
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management approach designed to boost focus and productivity while working. This is how it is applied:
Task selection: Choose a task that can be accomplished within 25-minute Pomodoro intervals.
Timer setup: Set a timer for 25 minutes, known as one "Pomodoro."
Starting work: Commence work on the selected task, focusing solely on it for the entire 25-minute Pomodoro. Eliminate all distractions such as email notifications and social media.
Taking a break: Once the timer goes off, take a 5-minute break. Step away from your work and engage in an activity that will recharge you, such as stretching, getting a drink of water, or taking a short walk.
Repeating the process: Repeat steps 2-4 four times. After the fourth Pomodoro, take a longer 15-30 minute break.
Progress monitoring: Keep track of the number of Pomodoros completed each day to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments.
This outlines the core structure of the Pomodoro Technique. By dividing work into focused 25-minute intervals, it helps increase productivity and prevent burnout. It's important to stick to the 25-minute intervals and break times to maintain focus and energy levels.
Give it a try to see if it works for you!
