YAP YAP THE DESTROYER BY: DAVID HERNÁNDEZ P.

 I want to talk about a character of my favorite franchise and universe, today I'm going to talk you about "Yap Yap the destroyer" from the universe fo Halo. 

Me and my brother are huge fans of Halo, but he was given one of the books that tell more about the background of Halo videogame. The book is "Halo the flood", and it tells the events of the story before, during and after the first Halo: Halo combat evolved, in this there are various perspectives from different characters and from different sides, more specifically we can see how the events of the first Halo occurred from the perspective of the enemy side "The Covenant".  This is how we got to know "Yap Yap the Destroyer".

His story is very funny since he is a grunt, an alien specie that is part of the covenant and the weakest within, Yap Yap is a cowardly character who enjoyed being a miner but when the war began his tactics to sneak away and leave the combat, they made him decorated so that now he had a higher rank within the covenant, greater importance and therefore greater risk of dying which ironically annoyed Yap Yap since he just wanted to live in peace.

This is why this became so iconic and managed to be a character that was not part of the games to be in the last games as references and even a playable character.
