A little bit about Ghost lore

In order to understand this story it is important to know that it is based on the music videos and concerts of the band that are connected to create the story of Ghost, that said it all starts with the video of Dance Macabre, where we see a young Nihil arriving at a party where Sister Imperator is, who upon seeing him chooses him to be Pope of the clergy. If you have seen the video, you will understand how he is blessed and so on, as well as by Satan's blessing he gets his white eye. 

Then we come to the clergy movement, bringing out the new Pope Nihil to make presentations and spread the word of his church in 1969 in Los Angeles. But at this time the Vietnam War was raging, so people weren't very interested in the band or what they wanted to spread, so the clergy decided to keep Papa Nihil to themselves. The clergy and his band were absent for quite a long time, so long until 2010, when the clergy brought the band back to the public, but this time led by Emeritus I (or Primo) the firstborn of Nihil and an unknown mother, with the album Opus Eponymous which starts their discography. 

But as there is a time limit for every pope. Primo's time passed and came the time of his brother, Emeritus II (or Secondo) for obvious reasons is the son of Nihil and an unknown mother, His album Infestissumam. 

He had attitude problems as he was a drunkard and a party animal and for that reason, they took him out and put the third son of Nihil, also from an unknown mother, Emerirus III (or Terzo) with Meliora. But one unfortunate day in 2017, Terzo was taken off stage in the middle of the song and after a long time, Papa Nihil (or Emeritus Zero) is seen again announcing that the party was over and the middle age began.

 And it is here that we get to Cardinal Copia, who is supposedly the unrecognized son of Nihil and Sister Imperator. At first, Nihil did not accept this, since he was not of "the bloodline" but Copia ended up doing concerts since Nihil's sons were sent to kill, it is said that Sister ordered them killed to leave the way free for her son, Copia left in charge of the band with the album Prequelle.

 Later, in Mexico City in 2020 Cardinal is no longer Cardinal, he moves up the ranks as Papa Emeritus IV (or Popia to the homies) Finally, Popia releases his first album as Papa, Impera. And so far Popia has been the longest-staying Papa in the band, we'll see if he stays that way or if, like his brothers, the day will come when he cools down.
